1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the Makkaddam GPS Camera Android application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility

3. Account / user responsibility
The App does not require account creation or login. Any profile information (name, designation, company, Makkaddam ID) you enter is your own responsibility to keep accurate; the App does not verify it.
4. App usage
You may use the App to capture, organize, and share construction-site photographs for your own professional or business purposes, subject to these Terms.
5. Construction documentation
The App is a documentation tool. It helps you record photographs with contextual information (location, time, project, activity). It does not itself constitute engineering advice, a survey, or a certified record, and should not be treated as one.
6. GPS / location limitations
Location, elevation, and compass data shown by the App are derived from your device's own sensors and, where applicable, the operating system's location services. Accuracy varies with device hardware, satellite visibility, signal conditions, and environment, and is never guaranteed. See How It Works for detail.
7. Photo ownership
You retain ownership of the photographs you capture using the App. Makkaddam claims no ownership over your photos or the project data you create.
8. User-generated content
Project names, site names, activity labels, and any other text you enter into the App are your own content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any such content and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
9. Prohibited use
You agree not to use the App to capture or store content that is unlawful, infringes another party's rights, or is used to misrepresent facts about a location, time, or activity in a way intended to deceive or defraud.
10. Intellectual property
The App itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Makkaddam Service Business Private Limited and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the App's underlying software beyond the ability to use it as installed.
11. Makkaddam trademarks
"Makkaddam" and "Makkaddam GPS Camera" are trademarks or trade names of Makkaddam Service Business Private Limited. [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm registration status before asserting formal trademark rights publicly].
12. Third-party services
The App relies on certain on-device and operating-system-level services (e.g. Android's location and geocoding services) as described in the Privacy Policy. Makkaddam is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these underlying platform services.
13. Accuracy disclaimer
GPS, elevation, compass, and address information provided by the App may vary depending on device hardware, environmental conditions, signal availability, and other factors outside Makkaddam's control. You should independently verify any information from the App where accuracy is critical to a decision, especially engineering, legal, or safety decisions.
14. No professional surveying guarantee
The App is not survey equipment and does not provide survey-grade or centimeter-level accuracy. It should not be used as a substitute for licensed surveying, engineering certification, or any legally mandated measurement process.
15. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
Makkaddam does not guarantee that the App will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted at all times, including due to device issues, operating-system changes, or factors outside Makkaddam's control.
16. Offline functionality limitations
While core capture functionality works offline, certain features (such as address lookup) require an internet connection and may be unavailable without one, as described in the Privacy Policy and User Manual.
17. Updates
Makkaddam may release updates to the App from time to time, which may add, change, or remove functionality. These Terms apply to the App as updated.
18. Suspension / termination
Makkaddam may, where necessary to comply with law or to protect the integrity of the App, restrict distribution of updates or delist the App from Google Play. Because the App stores your data locally on your own device, such an action would not itself delete data already stored on your device.
19. Privacy policy relationship
Your use of the App is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes what data the App accesses, stores, and transmits. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding data handling, the Privacy Policy governs.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Makkaddam Service Business Private Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including damages arising from reliance on location, elevation, compass, or address data provided by the App. [LEGAL REVIEW: this clause must be calibrated to applicable Indian consumer-protection and contract law before publication].
