Built around one workflow: capture, document, organize, share
No accounts to set up, no server to configure. Open the camera, confirm the project and activity, and capture — everything else is handled on the device.
Capture
Point the camera at the work and shoot. GPS, compass heading and elevation are read in the background and never hold up the shutter.
Document
Every photo is stamped with project, site, activity, date, time, coordinates and captured-by details — a second, untouched original is always kept alongside it.
Organize
Photos sit inside the Project you're working on, grouped by Site and Activity, with clear file names. Select many at once to move, rename or mark them up — and a copy of each lands in your phone's Gallery.
Share
Send a stamped photo, a batch of them, or one combined PDF straight to WhatsApp, email or Drive, using your phone's own share sheet.
New in versions 1.0.5 & 1.0.6
Everything below is in the app today, and works offline.
One PDF from many photos
Long-press to select photos, tap PDF, and get a single file with one photo per page — Photo ID, date, project, site and activity under each — ready to send.
Draw on photos
Arrows, boxes, circles, text, highlights and numbered tags, plus a remark banner. The original and the GPS-stamped photo are never changed, and your marks stay editable.
Photos in your phone Gallery
Each stamped photo is also copied to the album "Makkaddam GPS Camera" in your phone Gallery (you can turn this off), and one tap backs up every photo as a ZIP.
Faster, more honest capture
GPS is ready before you press the shutter, the address never holds it up, and a fix older than 15 seconds is labelled as such on the photo.
What's actually on the photo
Every field is either measured at capture time or entered by your team — nothing on the stamp is invented, and a value the app can't establish is simply left off rather than guessed.
Latitude, longitude & accuracy
The freshest GPS fix at the moment of capture, shown with its accuracy radius — and with its age if it's more than 15 seconds old — so the number is never presented as more precise or more current than it really is.
Compass heading
The direction the camera was facing, read from the phone's compass and shown as both a degree value and a cardinal direction (e.g. 134° SE).
Source-labelled elevation
Elevation is always shown together with where it came from — GPS-estimated or a project benchmark you've entered — never as a bare, unexplained number.
Project, site & activity
Each capture is tied to the Project, Site and Activity selected at the time, plus optional Building/Floor notes — so photos file themselves as you shoot.
Captured-by details
Name, designation and company can be attached to every photo, drawn from a profile you set once, never invented on your behalf.
A unique Photo ID
Every capture gets a sequential ID in the form MM26-RJK-000125 — year, site code, and a running sequence number — for easy reference in reports and conversations.
Built offline-first
Capture, GPS, compass, photo stamping, the gallery, mark-up and PDF creation all work with zero network connectivity — the core workflow doesn't need signal to function. A network connection is only used, briefly and best-effort, to resolve a readable address for the location.

Phone GPS accuracy depends on the device, satellite visibility, nearby structures and signal conditions. Every photo shows its actual accuracy radius, and elevation is never presented as survey-grade unless it genuinely came from a surveyed benchmark.
